Mrs. Gray

As we begin a new academic year, I am filled with excitement and optimism for the opportunities that lie ahead for our students, staff, and school community! It is truly an honor to lead “the work” that educators tirelessly do each and every day that shapes our students and communities

I am a product of CCPS and I started working in CCPS as a substitute teacher and bus driver. In 2007, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and began teaching 4th Grade Math here at South Christian Elementary, later becoming a Math Interventionist. I was also an Instructional and Behavior Coach in CCPS for 3 years before working as an Education Administration Program Consultant l for the Kentucky Department of Education.

For the past four years, I have served as the Assistant Principal here at South Christian Elementary School. Additionally, I have a Masters Degree and Rank 1 in School Administration and a Gifted and Talented Education Endorsement.

I am looking forward to continuing the work here at South Christian of supporting teachers, students, families, and other stakeholders in this capacity where I began teaching and where my children, Jaylen and Kenady attended elementary school.

Here at South Christian Elementary we live our mission every day and we continue to create a positive school environment where students know what is expected of them in all areas of the school and where they feel safe and are treated fairly!
